The Palazzo Vescovile in Vicenza is hosting an important exhibition of paintings and sculptures influenced by traditional local art from the XV Century to today, dedicated to the life of Christ, from the Annunciation to the Glory of the Heavens.
The lighting was aimed at accentuating the value of the exhibits in this charming setting. The versatility of the Ride profiles (floor fixture version) was instrumental in building the supporting structure which, helped by steel cables, bears the tracks with Middlesland spot lights. The essential design is discreet and “multiplies” the beams of light shining on the works, showing their artistic value, whilst limiting the quantity of light to avoid damage.

Padova, MobilTre, furniture store, inaugurated 3 April 2008: “The seasons of design: a journey through sensations and emotions”
Aesthetically essential, flexible, discreet, with colours superbly brought out, and pleasing to the eye: these are the prerequisites called for in the lighting architecture for this elegant shop in the heart of Padua. A setting posing more than a few challenges, the lighting was conceived to perfectly emphasize the forms of the objects on show, furnishings and high-end design. The almost invisible RollGhost and Rollover recessed fittings are camouflaged and emit precise beams of light that can be aimed to showcase the products to their full advantage.

In the heart of Milan, all out shopping… A large store featuring dramatic atmospheres, enlivened by lighting elements that encompass spectacular aesthetics with high technical performance, not to mention strong, unique personality to add character to the entire building. The light architecture is fashioned by fluorescent systems and RGB fixtures.

International design contest "Arrivare a Venezia "
Venice, Santa Marta Church, international design contest: “Arrivare a Venezia” (Coming to Venice), 7 February 2008-9 March 2008
Design is at the heart of this international contest set in the Santa Marta church, with an array of new architectural ideas for people arriving by land. Lighting for the event aims to create a first-rate project showcase: the Kut light fixtures are made in the same material as the display structure, merging with it visually. The eyes of the onlookers are naturally drawn to the works by controlled beams of light.

The harmonious architecture of Gonçalo Byrne is brought back to life in this splendid Romanic church in Vicenza. The realistic plastic reproductions present the works of the Portuguese architect to scale, with every detail illuminated by Nice LEDs: the light fixtures recreate the sun in the sky, accentuating the 3D model by means of brilliant shadow effects. LEDs are also the protagonists for lighting the exhibition panels through Farfallina, LED bars with transparent methacrylate lenses, shaped to create a precise beam of light.

A balanced mix of direct and indirect light drowns the timeless charm of the Castello di San Giorgio. The general lighting is provided by the minute Roll Trio fixtures, which softly craft reflections on the ancient palette of the murals, without interfering with the overall aesthetic harmony. The sculptural details of the works on show are, on the other hand, accentuated by the flexible technology of Tartan: absolutely essential aesthetics that draws the eye to the works of art; the totally versatile project incorporates sign, telephone and surveillance systems, and makes it entirely straight-forward to move floor light fixtures and complement other art installations, whilst never compromising the building’s architecture.

Lighting… the heart of the Dolomites

The minimal elegance of Tartan, used as both a profile as well as a light fixture, fits perfectly into the large rooms packed with products at the Cooperativa in Cortina. Extremely flexible, the lighting fully exploits the height of the loft, without ever visibly weighing down the building’s architecture. Its special H shape hides all the electrical cables, in addition to containing the sign, telephone and surveillance systems. There is a perfect balance between fluorescent lights for general lighting and discharge lamps for product lighting. The essential aesthetics of the Ride profiles in the suspended version complete the effect.

A light-concept projected towards a weightless, non-invasive identity for the balanced light fixtures drawing the focus on the products on show. The essential lines of Magoo have a dual character in the lighting structure designed to customer specifications for the OVS store in Mestre: the black upper section and tracks become almost invisible among the exposed ceiling beams, slimming the appearance of the grey spot light heads. Middlesland also offers minimal impact, proving to be ideally suited to the particular set up of low ceilings and display windows, demanding discreet light fixtures. Product are lit by discharge lamps with spot and flood optics.
